Kindy's family loved to feed people and she has continued that
tradition! Whether it was out in the garden, collecting eggs
from the chicken coup, canning, baking or cooking, there was always
food.
Her passion for healthy cooking became strong when her mother
became ill and her eating habits had to change drastically. After
both of her parents passed away, she decided to open a vegetarian
café inside a small health food store in Franklin,
Indiana. The café was very well received but when the health
food store decided to move to a smaller space without a kitchen,
she decided it was time to return to Nashville. She knew there
was something more than just a café that I wanted to build and
brand, it needed to be health conscience, environmentally
conscience, and locally sustainable.
